The Big 4-0... Finally

Last night the team surprised me with this feast.  Now I'm not going to say I didn't know about this as I had an inkling of it last week when some of them kept asking me if I will be on leave anytime this week but I am still pleasantly surprised.  I never thought I've made an impact on them considering how they bully me most of the time.  Right girls?  ;) Food served are spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, puto (rice cake), and cake (Tiramisu).  I love you guys!   :* [gallery link="file" columns="2" orderby="rand"] When I brought some of the food home, Martin, who's staying with me for the summer, gave me a big, strong, sappy hug together with his greeting.  *sniff*

Baked Avocado with Egg

A simple recipe that I found here.  Just slice the avocado, put an egg into the pit where the seed used to be.  Top with anything you fancy... voila!  Delicious meal or snack.  Depending on your point of view.

Resolutions

Who really does resolutions?  I've never done them nor have I been very good at keeping them.  Instead, what I do is just decide to change something and do it.  It doesn't matter the when or the how...  I just do it.  Any day can be new year's day.  Right? Rainbow

I've seen a few rainbows before but it is my first time to see a double rainbow today :D one of my friends said that rainbows are elecrtricity O.o is it real? answer me ! Yeah we had a funny converstion of why the raindow is called a rainbow or why there was a rainbow when it didn't rain... Anyways we shooted random thoughts like 'rainbows are rain's bows facing up, ready to fire at sun because he's mad at sun because the sun made the rain stop' well that's just one.   This post was meant to be posted a long time ago... it didn't show due to some technical errors but it's here now.

Excellent Shrimp Service

I recently bought a kilo of shrimps from the market. By chance I decided to ask if they can remove the shell for me for the same price. The person didn't give any excuse or whatever have you. He just said yes and went about it while I patiently waited. Indeed, this is great service. He definitely deserves a tip, don't you think?

The back of an armored truck.  I've always thought of Apple as a PC with a slightly limited view because of its environment.  Though, admittedly, it does have its up sides so I'm not dissing them too much.  The users are another matter entirely where I think the warning to the right is most apt.  If you disagree or agree with me, the comments are open below.

CityScape: (Still) Unidentified Object

It's been over a year since I last saw this thing and then it was still incomplete.  Now that it's complete, I still do not know what it is for.  The inside walls look to have some murals, mosaic or paintings on them.  I was driving, ok?  Best I can describe it to be.  To the right it looks like some sort of walkway leading to the thing.  Do people really go in there?  Satisfy my questions, someone, please tell me what this thing is?
